Aldona Juska metalwork artist medium: burnished copper, aluminium and steel. Aldona is Yorkshire born of Lithuanian decent and has spent most of her time in either Australia or America. Whilst living in Los Angeles she learnt design and basic metalcraft from Mexican blacksmiths. Upon returning to the UK, she took a college course in creative metal art and started welding at her studio. All articles are made from recycled materials (copper, brass and steel) and range from roses, poppies, thistles, lilies, tulips, daffodils, orchids and the bird-of-paradise. Designed for the home and office environment, the range includes wall, table and floor pieces in a variety of sizes. Each piece is unique and will vary slightly each time it is made. The range has expanded to domestic animals including the famous "mad dog." All animals are hand cut and suitable for indoors and outdoors.
