Eric Auld

painter

Eric Auld is a prominent artist working in the North East of Scotland.  He has established an enviable reputation for his paintings of city and landscape.

His works depicting the countryside are recognised for their enjoyment of the many features that make up the wonderful diversity of Scotland.  His paintings of Aberdeen are a fine tribute to its architecture and are expressive of the artist's love and intimate knowledge of the city.

He is a native of Aberdeen, a graduate of Grays School of Art and a recipient of a Scottish Arts Council Award.  In 1988 he became a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts and in 1992 was admitted as a Burgess of Guild of the City of Aberdeen.
