Hazel Morrison

Textile artist

Hazel Morrison graduated with a BA (Hons) in design and Craft from Grays School of Art in 2002.  She specialised in Textiles and Surface Decoration.  She is particularly interested in contemporary felt making and fabric manipulation techniques.

Her inspiration comes from the textures, colours and patterns found in the natural landscape of Scotland.  Linear patterns of rock formations, patterns left on the sand by the tide and colours and tones of the landscape inspire her to create unusual fabric vessels and organic forms.

Hazel Morrison creates unique hand made pieces that will act as a focal point in a contemporary home interior.
