Inger Smith painter medium acrylics & oils
Before graduating from Oslo Kunstskole,
Inger lived in the picturesque valley of Valdres, near the Jotenheimen
Mountains. Here she sketched and painted landscapes and traditional
Scandinavian farm buildings.
From Oslo School of Art she went on to
develop her skills in pen and ink drawing, watercolour and stained
glass. Following her graduation she travelled around East Africa, sketching and
painting the scenery and wildlife of the African Highlands and the
coastline near Mombasa.
On her return to Europe, Inger worked in
London before settling in Edinburgh and continuing her studies in
Illustration.
Inger has since exhibited across
Scotland and has works in many private collections throughout the
world.
