Lynne Schroder metalwork artist Lynne Schroder was brought up on a Welsh Hillside Farm. She left to become an army nurse and served for 22 years, travelling all over the world. Deciding on a career change, she completed a two year course in creative metal art in Edinburgh. Setting up her own workshop at home, she creates multifunctional art in copper, brass and some bronze. Each piece is individual, hand cut and gas welded. Her work ranges from smaller pieces, gift range to large one-off commission pieces and some water features. With her interest in the outdoors, her alloy pieces are transferable from house to garden. Since September 2002 Lynne's work has featured in many exhibitions and on Scottish television's "Beech Grove Garden".
