Margaret Pitt
printmaker
Having been brought up in the Shetland
Isles, Pictish and Viking images are the catalyst for her present work.
The work is based on the archaeological sites to be found on the islands.
The broch formations of Mansa and Clickiminn lend their distinctive
shapes, while the settlement of Jarlshof provides a wealth of plan
sections and details of construction.
