Metal Work

Below is a list of artists currently exhibiting at Larks Gallery. Images shown are a sample of the artists work and are not necessarily the current works that are on display in the gallery.

Lewis Banks
Lewis Banks is a designer and maker of enamel artworks. His work ranges from jewellery to large three-dimensional sculptural pieces. Based on the Firth of Forth in the coastal village of Aberdour, much of Lewis’s work is inspired by nature and the sea.
Glover and Smith
We design and hand make high quality contemporary pewterware, pewter tableware, pewter gifts, pewter spoons and pewter jewellery in our busy Wiltshire studios. Established in 1994, we use the highest quality lead free pewter and the highest standards of craftsmanship. Our making methods are eco friendly and we have a low carbon footprint. All our designs are handmade in the UK, by us.

Becka Gould
I'm Becka and I live in Edinburgh. I feel very lucky to do what I do for a living. Figuring I couldn’t make a living from making things, I chose a more sensible route and took an Ecology degree. Subsequently I discovered that I could combine my artistic flair with a lifelong interest in the natural world, and the science I had studied my degree. The results are my beasties; startlingly full of life, based on native British species and intriguing to lovers and haters of spiders and insects alike.
Philip Hearsey
Whereas bronze is most often used to reproduce a work originally conceived in another medium, Philip Hearsey uses the sand-casting process to create vessel forms that honour and explore the qualities of bronze as a material in its own right. Solid and heavy, yet graceful in line and remarkable in the vibrancy of patination, forms are pure: primordial in origin; subtle, elegant and seemingly weightless as they draw the eye to become objects of contemplation.
Aldona Jusksa
Aldona Juska has created a unique range of art out of scrap, steel and copper. Recently described in the Scotsman as the most promising undiscovered artist in Scotland she is building a following within the gallery and architectural design community. The mainstay of her work is botanical art from single stems to large complex pieces combined together to produce candelabras. She has been invited to exhibit in several European cities most recently Munich and Florence
